SUPER STADL- Joint reactivation of the hay barns
Four hay barns in Pinzgau are given a new lease of life and become public spaces for events and dialogue. Due to structural changes in agriculture, the barns are losing their original purpose of storing hay and are increasingly disappearing from the landscape. Temporary extensions give the four barns in Litzldorf a new use. As a concert stage, cinema or bar, they invite people to come together. In terms of design, the installations utilise elements of traditional hay harvesting and refer to the often communal agricultural practices, in the hope of creating new memories of the hay barns.
