How does rain shapes our life, our time and the territory we live in? How do we perceive one of the most important meteorological events on our planet? Are we really aware of it? „Shapes of Rain“ is an interactive light and sound installation which explores possible ways to reconnect people with meteorological changes and therefore with nature. The project invites people to watch the occurrence of rain with renewed awareness and curiosity.

ARTISTS

Stefano Mori and Matthias Leboucher

Stefano Mori works independently as an architect and at the same time as a senior artist at the Mozarteum University in the Department of Fine Arts & Design. He specializes in earth building and the use of natural materials in construction. In addition to his main occupation, he has always been involved in the conception and implementation of interdisciplinary projects composed of art, traditional crafts, and digital manufacturing technologies.

Matthias Leboucher is a French composer and pianist who lives between Salzburg and Vienna. He is a pianist and founder of the ensemble NAMES (New Art and Music Ensemble Salzburg). His field of work includes instrumental and electronic music, improvisation, jazz, performance, installations, and media art.
