Sankt Peter
Participatory theatre performance
The Nesterval theater ensemble produces the immersive play Sankt Peter, a version of the play Das Dorf, specially adapted for the Supergau Festival and Flachgau. The play was nominated in 2019 for the Nestroy Prize in the “Special Prize” category. Sankt Peter is a village that could be in the Flachgau but even in Vienna Ottakring – a village that has closed its borders and lives there according to its own rules. Sankt Peter deals with the concept of home and, in interaction with the audience, encourages an exchange about how much home everyone needs and how this concept can be opened up and expanded for a pluralistic society.

Ms Löfberg: Theatre in which I am involved in the action much more than usual, much more than just sitting in an armchair, and am thus confronted much more intensively with the question of my own involvement and how I actually feel.
