In Here, Somewhere Else Stefano D’Alessio moves a choir of four singers into the darkness. Rhythmic flashes of lightning illuminate their faces, brief flashes of light guided by their voices. Vocal fragments of digital conversations, word layers and meanings form an abstract and mutating cyberspace. The mood is gradually changed by dynamic lights that symbolically dance to the sound. Light, song, performance, surroundings and sounds intertwine in this atmosphere over time.
