Habitat 23
Soundinstallation
Habitat 23 is a walk-in sound installation that opens up a temporary living space. Boundaries between living beings and machines, past and present, landscape and composition are beginning to dissolve. The sounds of the immediate surroundings are captured by microphones, alienated and played back into the landscape with the help of so-called parabolic loudspeakers. The topography of the landscape and the movements of the listeners influence the sound and shape the habitat.
