Salzburger Land

Conversation Pieces
investigation in public space

Edwin is interested in the phenomenon ‘Landflucht’. That’s what it’s called when young people exchange the countryside for the big city. The Lungau region has a rich cultural past but how about its future? Send him your ideas on the development of this beautiful region! With site specific ‘conversation pieces’ he wants to offer the opportunity to imagine and debate the future.

Dates

Fri 26 May – Sun 04 June: open to the public at any time

Wed 31 May | 12pm – 2pm “Lungau, when does the last train to Salzburg leave?” Table talk with soups from Suppengau | Parking: Tafernwirt, Zederhaus*

*My artistic research shows a connection between rural exodus and poor public transportation. Websites like the one of Salzburger Land outline a different reality: “Even Lungau, Salzburg’s southernmost region, can be reached quickly and comfortably by public transportation.”(1) You are cordially invited to the table talk to discuss this.
