Supergau is more than just a festival. Supergau is a spatial experiment, a platform for contemporary thought and action, a workshop and a temporary new landscape. Supergau invites artists to rural regions and explores the potential of artistic production in the districts of Salzburg. Every two years, Supergau makes a stopover at the Traklhaus and provides a glimpse behind the scenes and into the countryside.

Opening with the 8th sacrifice
Following the Stifler trilogy for Supergau 2023 in Lungau, the artist collective
EXPERIMENTAL SETUP follows on from its cycle on nature, myth and
humanity with the installation and performance Orakel and the 8th Sacrifice.

The oracle of the meadow – grasses, herbs and flowers – will be activated as a participatory
installation and invites you to question the language site.
Wed 18.9. 19:00 Habitat 24 (miniatures) – sound performance
Inspired by the audio installation Habitat 23 in Lungau, four miniatures will be
miniatures in the form of a cross-space sound performance with the artists
artists Andreas Zißler and Fabian Lanzmeier.
